Professor Zablocki's essay "The Taiwanese Connection: Politics, Piety, and Patronage in Transnational Tibetan Buddhism" appears in Buddhism Between Tibet and China, Matthew Kapstein, ed. His research focuses on contemporary globalization of Buddhism and on the transnational transformation of Tibetan religion, culture, and politics. Professor Zablocki teaches courses on Buddhism and other Asian religions, as well as the anthropology of religion, religion and theory, and Asian studies (with particular attention to Tibet and South Asia).
